TOWIE star Dani Imbert has exclusively revealed that she briefly made up with ex Liam Gatsby after filming the latest season.
Chatting to hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on the showbiz gossip programme Access All Areas, the reality star revealed that she had privately met up with Liam after filming concluded in August: “I don’t know if I should even be saying this, but towards the end of August, we did meet up, and we did clear the air. We weren’t getting back together, but we decided to be friends, he was still telling me he loved me and that he wants to go to dinner, two days later I see him on his Instagram with another girl and we haven’t spoken since. It’s just a bit weird.”
The 24-year-old then went on to speak about her friendship with Roman Hackett and if there are any feelings after sharing a drunken kiss:
“Me and Roman are still just friends, there’s nothing really in it, to be honest with you. It was purely a drunken kiss and that’s it, nothing more to it.”
However, she also explained that she felt the situation had been blown out of proportion by other cast members:
“Everything gets blown up and they [other cast members] think that we must be sleeping together, or we must be secretly seeing each other, but there is actually nothing going on.”
When asked by Bobby Norris about the drama between her, Chloe Meadows, and Courtney Green which was seen in the latest episode, Imbert responded by saying:
“I went into filming thinking there wouldn’t be no problem with these girls, I had no issue with them, and it became apparent that they had an issue with me. They would come over and say hello to all my friends and not say hello to me, then they said that they felt I had caused the arguments between them and Liam when I had nothing to with it.”
She continued: “It was just very weird, everything kind of got turned around on me. Although Liam told them and was like, she didn’t ever tell me not to be friends with you, they continued sending indirect stories about me saying that I was the problem with their friendship … for me, it’s one-sided drama because I genuinely didn’t have an issue with them girls at all. I didn’t know them, so it was all kind of out of the blue for me.”
Later in the interview, Dani Imbert hinted at what we could expect from her for the rest of the series:
“The next episode coming up is me arguing with the ex [Liam Gatsby] and after that we kind of just put things to bed and it’s chilled.”
