Last week on Access All Areas, Bobby and Stephen chatted about the latest interview that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have done with American producer and presenter Oprah Winfrey.
Talking about the footage that has been aired on ITV this week, Stephen said: “I don’t think royal fans are going to like it.”
Bobby then replied: “No. And this is kind of the thing, like so many people will be intrigued. Like you say, you might not be the biggest fan of Meghan. But you still want to watch it because, and I don’t know why it is. Is it because for the first time ever, we’ve seen royalty almost just step into celebrity?”
The Essex star continued: “Because, although he’s always going to be the Queen’s grandson. I do kind of think, ‘Are they now just becoming celebrities?’ That’s kind of never been done before. Yeah, I know she’s obviously got her career pre-Harry, hasn’t she? So, for her that’s kind of did nothing new stepping into that. But it’s almost like reality, it’s like their own reality show. Like, where is the goss? Are we going to see them on I’m A Celeb this year?”
