TOWIE’s Bobby Norris on becoming a volunteer vaccinator: “It just gives people light and hope”

Last week on Access All Areas, TOWIE’s Bobby Norris shared his excitement in becoming a volunteer vaccinator.

Talking about his experience and training, the FUBAR Radio presenter explained: “Back when I got COVID, I just lay there thinking what can I do, if anything? In terms of volunteering to help other people. And then, when I found out that St John’s was doing this volunteer vaccinator scheme, I thought, ‘Well, doing injections is nothing new to me’. Like, my mum had Leukaemia a few years ago and I was doing home injections for her every day. So that doesn’t faze me.”

He continued: “And what better time to get out there and put that skill to good use. I’m honestly just so excited. And I feel like for me as well, I’m very conscious there’s a lot of people out there that haven’t seen anyone face to face since March. So, for them to come in, feel that they’ve got some interaction with someone, see people and also have the feel-good feeling that they’ve had their first vaccination done. It just gives people light and hope.”
