TOWIE’s Bobby Norris claims that reality TV “should be a true reflection of society”

This week on Access All Areas, Bobby and Stephen talked about Hugo Hammond who is the first disabled Love Islander in the history of the show.

Talking about the latest series of the ITV show, Stephen said: “Well, I think of the most exciting of them all is probably a guy called Hugo Hammond, who is the first disabled contestant, which I think is actually quite good of them, I would say. Body diversification-wise, they’re probably still a bit lacking.”

Bobby replied: “I think like you say, It’s a great starting point to see our first disabled contestant going into the villa. I think that’s a great thing. And I hope we see that kind of continue. I just think with all reality TV, it should be a true reflection of society, you know, so disability exists and I think it’s only great. And so many people will relate to that and that will help inspire people and it starts conversations. So, I think it’s great that we’re seeing that.”
