Married At First Sight’s Bob Voysey Reveals Biggest Regrets From Show

Former Married At First Sight star Bob Voysey has revealed his main regrets after appearing on the show last year.

Chatting to hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on the showbiz gossip programme Access All Areas, the Recapped At First Sight host reflected on his time on the show:

“I rely a lot on friends and family for emotional support and I like to talk about my feelings openly. When that’s taken out your hands, because you don’t have your phone on you for the whole time your filming… that was quite a difficult experience. You rely on all the other people in the experiment, and they’ve got their own marriages they’re trying to figure out, so that was really tough emotionally and it really drains you.”

He continued: “The only regret I really have about the whole process is that I wasn’t completely myself; I think I tried to give myself to the process too much … I tried to do everything too perfectly, I think that’s the one regret that I wasn’t more just me throughout the whole thing.”

When asked by Bobby if he thinks that contestants are coming onto Married At First Sight for not the most genuine reasons, the reality star responded saying: “I think they [producers] need to have that balance, because if they just have ten couples, every one of them has fallen in love, it’s romantic from day one all the way through the process, that would be nice but wouldn’t make great tv.”

He then went on to say: “They like to have those risky people… I think there are more people probably going into it now to try and become famous. In my series I think there were a few, in this one I think there are more, but you’d like to believe they’re coming on to find love right.”
