Love Island’s Faye Winter has raised concerns over the number of contestants entering the villa with existing management.
Chatting to hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on the showbiz gossip programme Access All Areas, the former islander discussed whether she thought most contestants were only on the show for money. She noted that many of the Islanders already had managers before appearing on the show “Some people have already gone in there with management. They’re already setting up deals. So, they already know what they’re going in there for.”
The 27-year-old explained that she always intended to go on the show to find love rather than fame “I went in there with 1000 followers, I took a sabbatical from work, I was like ‘I’m coming back.’ And then I was obviously in there for eight weeks.”
After finishing third, Winter discussed her reluctance to work with fast fashion companies stating “I came out and I was very much I don’t want to do fast fashion. That’s not me. And a lot of people said to me, we don’t really know what to do with you. Because I want to do property. I want to do dogs. And that’s what I’ve done before”
Later in the interview, Faye opened up about her relationship with co-star Teddy Soames saying “I came out with exactly what I went in there for. And it’s weird because that’s what people always say to me ‘Oh my god, you and Teddy’ and I’m like when we went in there, we were from completely different sides of the UK, and we never would have met. So, we have to give everything and every thanks to Love Island.”
She also revealed she had been dropping hints to Soames about getting married ‘If we do see someone, I’m like look at her ring, look at her ring. And he’s like, oh, yeah, that’s a nice ring and I’m like I want it bigger.’
