Last week on Access All Areas, Drag Race’s Crystal Methyd joined Bobby and Stephen to talk about how RuPaul’s Drag Race revolutionised drag art in the eyes of audiences around the world.
Talking about how the international franchise changed drag art’s reputation, the American queen said: “That’s what’s so fun about, I think the casting is, you know, each queen has a specific skillset that maybe makes them different from everyone else.”
Crystal continued: “I think that’s why our cast got along so well and is still in really good contact and friends. Like, we all recognise that we all have strengths in like far different areas than each other. And we’re all huge fans of drag. So, we just respect each other and love working together.”
