Last week on Access All Areas, First Dates’ Merlin Griffiths joined hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng to talk about his experience on First Dates.
Speaking about how he spots love at first sight, the 46-year-old said: “You can see it. Like the whole world stops. It’s that moment they lock eyes, right? And nothing else exists around them. And it is quite something to see, like when they really, really hit it off.”
He continued: “So, you walk in, I don’t like to be a third wheel, right? You let a person chill. You let them gather their thoughts right? They’ve got their drink. You have a little chat. Leave them to chill for a bit, ‘Give me a shout out if you need anything’. [You] come back when their date gets there. The date would want a drink, so you’ll walk up and stand there, they won’t notice you, ‘Hello, Hello’. They are there. They’re just in their zone. Locked eyes, That’s it.”
