The latest member of Nick Helm and Nathaniel Metcalfe’s Fan Club is actor, musician and comedian Charles Esten.

The Nashville star brought up a memory from the set of Kevin Costner’s 2008 film Swing Vote which has a scene set in a bowling alley.

“Every ball I bowled was a strike and not just a strike, but the loudest strikes I’ve ever heard in bowling alleys.”

Costner, who was acting in a dramatic scene in the lane next to Esten, asked the Outer Banks actor if he could “maybe not bowl one strike?”.
