Dj Fat Tony discusses drug addiction recovery and mental health activism

Last week on Access All Areas, celebrity socialite, DJ, producer and meme curator, DJ Fat Tony talked openly about his past drug addiction with hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng.

The DJ said, “I used and abused drugs and everything I came into contact really with, for 28 years. And, it got very, very dark about 14 years in.”

He goes on to say how his mental health deteriorated quite drastically to the point where he tells. “I had no teeth left. I pulled them all out psychotically over the course of about, a year to 18 months.”

Fat Tony has been a mainstay on the London nightlife scene over an extensive career spanning over 35 years. He recently DJayed for a private party for Brooklyn Beckham and is well known for being friends with the likes of Kate Moss, Boy George, Naomi Campbell, Elton John, and many more household names. 

Tony, real name Tony Marnach, is very open about his struggles with drug addiction and uses his experience with mental health and recovery to be vocal and active in helping others.
