Last week on Access All Areas, viral internet sensation and porn actress, Sophie Anderson, discussed her struggles as a sex worker throughout lockdown.
Speaking to hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng about her work, the Bristolian was pleased to announce she’s getting back to some normality: “I’ve been filming again, I’m seeing clients again. So, it’s really, really great.”
Sophie is half of the internet-dubbed ‘Cock Destroyers’, alongside fellow porn actress Rebecca More after a video featuring the debaucherous duo vent viral on social media last year.
Speaking on how she has managed to keep working throughout COVID-19, she said “I just totally boosted my OnlyFans. That’s what I did…Loads more Skype calls. Loads more custom videos. All that type of thing.”
The global pandemic has affected many industries and businesses, including sex work, seeing many people get creative and turn to alternative income sources. OnlyFans, a premium content subscription website, has reportedly seen an increase in UK creators of about 42% since the beginning of lockdown.
