Made in Chelsea’s Issy Francis-Baum opens up about her boyfriend refusing to appear on the show again and reveals that she’s thinking about leaving.

Chatting to hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on the showbiz gossip programme Access All Areas, the reality star spoke about how her relationship has changed her experience on Made in Chelsea: “This series has been a little bit different because I now have a boyfriend and he’s not on the show. It’s very different because on the last season, I was dating and that was my character but now I’m more just taking a back seat. I’m in less drama. I prefer it because I can just come home after to my boyfriend and it’s nice.

She also revealed that the Made in Chelsea producers had already asked her boyfriend Tom Dolemore to reappear on the show: “He doesn’t want to [go on the show]. I’m like “Come on. Come and do it with me” but he says no. He’s very adamant that there’s no way. He actually did it about five or six years ago. Now I think he has PTSD and he doesn’t want to do it anymore”

Issy continued: “My friends said to me “if he does come on [the show] be prepared to be tested” but I think that it’s actually a really nice thing that he doesn’t want to do it. I feel like some other boys would be like “yeah let’s do it, lets do it” and just want to go on to be in the limelight.”

Later in the interview, The 20-year-old revealed that she is unsure about doing more seasons of Made in Chelsea: “I haven’t really decided yet if I’m going to do the next series but it’s not something that I’m like “Yes! I really want to do this” because I am really happy in my relationship. The next series is an away series so we’d be going away for a large amount of weeks. Tom [Dolemore] is a very open book and he wants me to do what I want to do. He doesn’t want to be an influence on what I want to do. He’s always said to me “if you want to film, you should film. I shouldn’t stop you from doing anything.””

She continued: “I want to do multiple things; I don’t want to stay on something for too long. I’ve done it for three series now, this is my fourth, and I want to spread my wings. I don’t want to just stay tied in to one thing. I’ve loved it, I really have, it’s made me a much stronger person. But I don’t think I need to be on it for a lifetime.”
