Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hit the headlines recently. He’s been laying the law on the fitness of his players. He has even started banning players from training if they have not met his standards. Basically, he’s been calling people fat and then telling them to fuck off. Surely a football player cannot be over weight?!
So what is classed as ‘over weight’? To Pep, it isn’t simple, but then again it is. Each player has been given weight parameters and Pep expects them to be strictly adhered to or training bans are issued. No pizza, no nothing. So all the information is given to the players (on a plate – sorry), they simply need to stick to the new regulations if they wish to continue training.
It’s not that harsh right?
It’s not as if they don’t get paid enough to be able to afford vegan food..
