This week on Access All Areas, Selling Sunset’s Amanza Smith joined hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng to defend co-star Chrishell Stause over cheating rumours involving dancer Gleb Savchenko.
When asked about Chrishell’s appearance on Dancing With the Stars, the 43-year-old said: “Oh, I mean she did amazing! You know? I don’t think she expected to last that long. The girl has never had a dance lesson in her life. Like a proper dance lesson. So, I think she was on it for 8 weeks? I think she can dance. I think she had a lot of fun for sure. I haven’t got to see her since I’ve gone away. I mean, literally, I woke up this morning and this is my first day back but I’m excited to talk to her and hear about the experience [that she had] and see, you know, what she has to say.”
Chrishell has been allegedly accused of being involved in an extra-marital affair with her dance partner Gleb Savchenko. Talking about the press scandal, Amanza commented: “I saw that and you know what? We were all texting last night. We have like a group chat that we keep up with things on. I think she was just, she’s more pissed off at this point than like, depressed about it. Because it’s just such BS. And I haven’t read it. Everything I’ve just seen, like, the speculation, and I’m like, ‘Oh, well, of course that’s what they are going to say, you know?’ But I saw a statement from him and he’s like, you know, they had issues for a long time and this was like really bad timing. And, personal opinion, it sounds like maybe the wife is using this as like a cheap PR stunt.”
She continued: I mean, why wouldn’t you? But yeah, poor Chrishell. She was like, ‘I went through a very public divorce’. Like, the last thing she would ever do is being added to somebody’s infidelity if that’s what was going on. But that’s just how it goes when you are in the spotlight, but I think she’s pretty pissed off about it.”
