This week on Access All Areas, Geordie Shore cast member, James Tindale revealed he wouldn’t think twice about having sex on the show to hosts Bobby Norris and Steven Leng.
Addressing recent rumours that have been circulating in the press, Bobby asked: “In past interviews, [old cast members] kind of felt a pressure to have sex whilst they were on the show?”
James responded, noting that the headlines about Vicky were taken somewhat out of context, “I don’t generally think she meant it as she felt pressured by the show or producers or anything because they didn’t really push anything to us then. We kind of had free reign so we could just do whatever we wanted.”
He goes on to add “Back then, I wouldn’t think twice about stuff like that. Whereas now, I’m older. I’m a bit like, do you know what? I don’t think that’s a bit of me, really.” James, now 30 first appeared on the show in seasons 1-10, starting when he was just 21.
James also noted that the show attracted widespread attention because of its debaucherous nature, but it wasn’t just sex that managed to captivate it’s large audience, “luckily, that proves that you don’t have to have sex on the show to do the show.”
Geordie Shore is set to return to our screens later this year with its 21st season, following filming in October last year. Production was put on hiatus in April due to the coronavirus pandemic.
