This week on Access All Areas, Diversity dancer Perri Kiely joined hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng to talk about his troubled relationship with glasses.
When asked if he would ever consider the opportunity of starting his own range of glasses, the successful dancer replied :“Oh my god, that would be the dream!”
He continued: “You know the fake ones that are like huge? I want to make those prescription. That’s my dream. Do you know what I mean? But my eyes are so bad the lenses would be so thick. They’d just fall off my face. It wouldn’t be good.”
Then Bobby asked: “How many pairs do you reckon you’ve got, Pel?”
After a moment of thinking, Perri replied: “At the moment I’d probably say about, maybe, probably 60, 70 pairs of glasses. But that’s not counting the amount I’ve broken. I think that’s why I need loads. The amount of times I’m like being thrown around or I fall, and they break. Like, it’s just constant. I need like, one in one out. That is it! Do you know what I mean? So, I’m doing the collection”.
