Celebrity Big Brother’s Rhian Sugden reveals she almost went on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and wishes she had picked that over Big Brother.

Chatting to hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on the showbiz gossip programme Access All Areas, the reality star spoke candidly about not enjoying her experience on Celebrity Big Brother: I love watching it, not so much being in it. [I didn’t like] the people. Some of them were good but I was in with Jasmine Lennard who was a bit wild and Julie Goodyear who was also a bit wild. Looking back, I went in for the wrong reasons because I was hated at the time by the public and I wanted to change the perception of people. I think I was just too young; I wasn’t who I am now. Now I don’t really give a shit what people think but back then I was too bothered about it and I just kept quiet. It was not for me.”

She continued: “People hated me for the whole Vernon Kay saga. It was awful at the time and I just wanted to show people that I’m actually quite a nice normal person and not just a sex-texting wh*re that everyone thinks I am. I went in to complete boos but I came out to cheers so something shifted.”

Later in the interview, the glamour model revealed she had been offered to go on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and wishes she had chosen that instead: “I wouldn’t say I regret it but I got offered the jungle as well and I regret not picking that one. The money was better for Big Brother so I took that. But I imagine that the jungle would have been much better because its more of a fight for survival than a fight of personalities I think.”
