What better way than to debut FUBAR Radio’s ‘The Harriet Rose Show’ than with two former child stars.
Harry Potter actor, Harry Melling, and Lost in Austen actress, Jemima Rooper, came on the show to promote their upcoming theatre production ‘Hand to God’.
Rose spoke to Melling about his work as Dudley in the ‘Harry Potter’ film series, and her previous attempts to be a part of the franchise.
“I was livid with jealousy… tried to go for Luna Lovegood – complete opposite of what I look like, went for it anyway. Did not get it…”
Rooper was also a child star, most notably for ‘As If’ and ‘The Famous Five’, which she recalled working on with fondness.
Both Melling and Rooper promised that the stage production of ‘Hand to God’ is “un-West Endy”, “very dark comedy” and full of “sex hands”.
Check out ‘Hand to God’ at the Vaudeville Theatre from February 5th to June 11th. Tickets are on sale now.
