On print being dead: “If it’s not dead, it’s definitely on a decline. postpapers put all their stuff on the internet. [Our] magazine isn’t on the web, you need to buy it. It’s not on the internet. That’s what keeps it going.”
On Sam Smith winning an Oscar for ‘Writing’s on the Wall’: “It was extraordinary. It worked with the title sequence, as a song on its own it was terrible. And he did give us one of the most ridiculous speeches.”
