Surprise!
Predictably, Leicester bounced back last night following Claudio Ranieri’s contentious sacking last week to beat a very poor Liverpool side, with Vardy & co. playing better than they have done all season.
On a night of mixed emotions for fans, the Leicester players finally pulled their fingers out and actually turned up – here’s the best of Twitter as the action unfolded.

Philosophical
Very rare to watch a football match where both sets of players should be ashamed of themselves. #LEILIV

Were Leicester good? Or were Liverpool just terrible?
#LEILIV Liverpool are the Robin Hood of the Prem. They take points off the big clubs and give them to the ones in need ??

Jamie Vardy was back to his best

There’s no escape from Brexit either
When Jamie Vardy got married he asked if he could read out Article 50 instead of his vows

The game arguably cemented Claudio Ranieri’s legend status even further
The only thing the Leicester players proved tonight was that it was obviously them who let Ranieri down not the other way round

Ranieri = Legend
For anyone who thinks a single #LCFC fan is glad to see Ranieri sacked. Forever a legend. pic.twitter.com/Y3prWraj6Q
