How Sorry Are These Celebrities Really? FUBAR’s Worst Celebrity Apologies

Posted By: Fubar Radio On:

It’s 2am on Monday 19th December 2016, most people in the UK would be in a deep sleep unable to be disturbed by anything, not even an apology from Katie Hopkins would wake them.

While people are in hysteria that Katie Hopkins has actually apologised for some of the shit that comes out of her mouth, FUBAR would like to point out that she hasn’t actually said the word sorry and we were wondering whether having posted this in the middle of the night she had hoped her uncharacteristic moment would go unnoticed.

Here’s a few of the best heartfelt celebrity apologies…

1. Shia Labeouf’s unoriginal apology to Alec Baldwin

After his public feud with Broadway co-star Alec Baldwin, Shia Labeouf tweeted a screenshot of his lengthy email apologising to Baldwin.

All was not as it seemed, whilst the opening addressed Baldwin directly, it turns out Labeouf had simply plagiarised from an Esquire magazine article titled ‘How To Be A Man’.

2. Ariana Grande – Sorry to donuts everywhere & America

Earlier this year, pop sensation Ariana Grande was caught up in a heated scandal because she licked a donut in a shop… she also said she hated America & Americans.

Ariana took to Twitter to settle the dispute and claimed her outburst was directed towards the increasing levels of child obesity in the US and that she was proud to be American.

Actor Rob Lowe dismissed her apology as “lame” which spurred on Ariana’s apology for her own apology for her remarks about hating Americans.

Confusing yes, but basically there was a lot of apologising going on amongst her Krispy Kreme bashing.

3. Chris Brown

Almost six months after Chris Brown confused himself for Mike Tyson and beat a then 21 year-old Rihanna up just before the 2009 Grammy Awards, Brown released a video statement apologising for the “incident”, never quite clarifying what the subject of the apology actually was.

Despite this completely heartfelt apology, in 2012 Brown stepped out with a tattoo of what seemed to be a female’s beaten up face that many interpreted to be a tattoo of Rihanna.

He really shat all over his the apology his PR team curated didn’t he?

4. Johnny Depp & Amber Heard’s apology to Australia

Who loves Australia more than anyone? Clearly, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Or not.

After illegally bringing their dogs into Australia, Depp and Heard were forced to apologise to the Australian government. We think a bunch of flowers and letter would probably have sufficed…

Disrespecting Australian law is definitely something you don’t want to do unless you plan to feature in the most awkward apology video that will probably ever exist.

5. Russell Brand’s apology to Andrew Sachs

We’re pretty sure you won’t have forgotten the infamous answerphone message that forced Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross to resign from the BBC but did you miss Russell Brand’s sincere apology?

Probably not because it doesn’t actually exist. The best apology that Brand could come up with was this…

“I’d like to take this opportunity to issue a personal Russell Brand apology…for a message that Jonathan and I left on his answer phone but it was quite funny. But, sometimes, you mustn’t swear on someone’s answer phone and that’s why I’d like to apologise personally.”
