Ellen, who hosted the 86th Academy Awards, ordered food from Big Mama’s & Papa’s Pizzeria to be delivered to the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood – and Edgar Martiroysan was the delivery man who was left surprised when he was brought out on stage to hand out pizza slices to such stars as Brad Pitt, Jared Leto, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and Harrison Ford. Ellen collected hundreds of dollars in tips in a hat from the celebrities sitting in the audience but sparked criticism for not giving the business owner what he was owed on the night. But she soon made up for the misstep by handing him the money plus an extra few hundred dollars when he appeared on The Ellen Show the following day. “I ended up getting about $600,’ said Ellen as she handed it to Edgar, before adding another few hundred. “And here’s a $1000.” Edgar then waved the money in the air as the audience cheered.
