To honour their most famous asset, the city of Madeira in Portugal unveiled a statue of Cristiano at their airport, now entitled the Cristiano Ronaldo Airport.
There was one thing which was troubling. The statue looked nothing like Ronaldo and looked more like Sunderland legend Niall Quinn.
Ronaldo was not happy about this and locked up Niall in his basement for a few days.
We caught up with the Irishman to get his reaction after he escaped.
