Germein Sisters on Joey Page

Talking exclusively to FUBAR Radio’s Joey Page, Australia’s Germein Sisters have revealed how song writing can take them up to three years.

The Germein Sisters are a young exciting indie/pop band comprising of siblings Georgia, Ella and Clara Germein. The comparisons with The Corrs are inevitable, having enlisted Billy Farrell to produce their debut album along with Stuart Gray (Sinead O’Connor).

Performing at this years Isle of Wight Festival (Feat. Fleetwood Mac & Pharrell Williams) the band told Joey that the lyrics come first and it can take them anything between 10 minutes to 3 years to write the track. Their new single ‘Golden’ is about ‘going for gold’ (which Joey pointed out was a terrible TV show from the 80s).

According to the band’s Soundcloud profile “Australian sisters Georgia, Ella, & Clara Germein are a refreshingly honest young female pop/folk band, who are exceptionally talented musicians. This act is the real deal. Their catchy melodies with a message are topped off with beautiful sibling harmonies, leaving listeners spell bound. Germein Sisters completed an Australian National Tour in 2012, followed by performances in the UK, Europe, & Canada.
