7 Things That’ll Break Ant and Dec’s Winning Streak

Sixteen. That’s how many consecutive years Ant and Dec have won the National Television Award in the Best Presenter category.

Some would argue that one award was too many but they just keep going and not even the likes of Mary Berry and her buns can break the streak.

FUBAR has come up with a list of things that we think could ultimately break the duo’s continuous winnings. Check it out…

1. TV Affair

In the event that either Ant or Dec are the only presenters on ITV available to cover Holly Willoughby’s hangover on This Morning, pairing up with Phillip Schofield could make one of them realise there is life outside Ant and Dec.

2. Moving House

It’s no secret that the guys do everything together, even living three doors down from one another. What happens if one of them moves another house down? Will the spell break?

3. All Celebs Get Revenge for Undercover

One of the most popular features on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway is their undercover pranks of celebrities. In an unfortunate or fortunate turn of events (depending how you look at it), Gordon Ramsay, Jeremy Kyle, James Corden, all victims of the prank, team up and prank them so hard that they are embarrassed to return to the entertainment industry.

4. Jungle Death

Although they present I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Ant has a massive phobia of spiders. Let’s say Dr. Bob wasn’t around and a venomous spider got to Ant, that would most probably end their award-winning streak.

5. Brits Host Fail

With Michael Buble pulling out of this year’s Brits, they might turn to previous hosts Ant and Dec. This alone was not a high point of their career, with rubbish gags and awkward interactions with celebrities, if history were to repeat itself the award winning would definitely not.

6. Wonkey Donkey Revenge

People of a certain age will remember back to a time when Ant and Dec were Saturday morning hosts on CITV. Back then, Dec had a major anger issue with Wonkey Donkey (see video below), one that we don’t know if he’s gotten over. If Wonkey Donkey were to ever return we think Dec would lose control and end up in anger management, leaving Wonkey Donkey himself to take his place and become Ant’s right-hand man.

7. Solo Music Career

They shot to fame as PJ and Duncan in the TV Show Byker Grove and became pop sensations with ‘Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble’ in 1994. The song was re-released more recently though, does it put them at risk for their pal Simon Cowell to pull a classic X Factor move and pick the better one as a solo artist and ditch the other?
