Position: Volunteer Work Experience Writer
Location: Remote (with preference for candidates able to attend live broadcasts at FUBAR Radio’s studio in N7 London, one tube stop from Kings Cross)
Type: Volunteer (unpaid but can lead to future paid role at FUBAR Radio). Reasonable travel expenses will be covered.
Hours: Between 4 and 10 hours per week, depending on your availability, with some evening work required.

Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and talented Volunteer Work Experience Writer to join our dynamic team. This is an incredible opportunity that would suit an undergraduate in broadcast journalism to gain hands-on experience in the media industry. As a writer, you will be responsible for crafting engaging news articles for both our website and national press outlets. Your work will not only be featured on the FUBAR Radio website but will also carry your name credit, giving you significant exposure, with the press releases that you will write appearing regularly in the national press.
Key Responsibilities
- Write compelling news articles and features for the FUBAR Radio website and national press.
- Attend live broadcasts (preferred) to capture highlights and create engaging content.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure content aligns with FUBAR Radio’s tone and style.
- Research and stay updated on current trends and news in the entertainment industry.
- Edit and proofread articles to ensure high-quality, error-free content.
