Nathan Campbell and Girlfriend Abi Moores Respond to Ex's Online Video

Married at First Sight star Nathan Campbell and Abi Moores respond to Lacey Martin’s online video about her ‘showmance’ breakup with Nathan.

Chatting to host Bobby Norris and Ellen Coughlan on the showbiz programme Access All Areas, Nathan Campbell gave his thoughts on Lacey Martin’s message about ending Married at First Sight relationship: “I’m not sure what she means by the truth. I've only have said one thing when it comes to, like a message or something on the show, and that was just one line, and that's all ever said. I mean, apart from that, I didn't really say anything else on the episode, on that on that episode. So, I'm not too sure what she means by the truth.”

Nathan’s new girlfriend Abi Moores also gave her reaction to the message: “I think when you're with someone and emotions are so high, and you actually fall so deep with someone. Yeah, it's crazy, I think obviously emotions by her, you obviously had a lot of feelings for her. She had a lot of feelings. I could see there's a lot has gone on, but I think it's just been a bit of a madness ”

Nathan reveals that he would like to rekindle a friendship with Lacey Martin: “I'd love to rekindle some sort of friendship there, you know, we went through quite an intense experiment together. We were together all the time, every day, and we were really close, and we had a really good journey compared to a lot of the other people. But,  I would like to rekindle some sort of friendship there”

Also on the episode, Nathan spoke about how he was unaware of Lacey’s suicidal thoughts: I never even knew that. To be honest with you, I wouldn't wish that on anybody. I've been quite down when I was a lot younger, in quite a dark space, so I had no idea that's how she felt. And I wouldn't want her to feel that way. I'm sorry that she does feel that way as well.”
