Coinciding with the release of her stunning new album “AIM”, international singer and rapper M.I.A is joining FUBAR Radio to talk exclusively about her fourth album.
AIM is a blockbuster twelve track masterpiece and features artists including former One Direction’s Zayn Malik. M.I.A has previously worked with the likes of Madonna, Nicki Minaj and Diplo.
Since kick-starting her solo career in 2002, she has been nominated for numerous awards from MOBOs to Grammies. She’s the only artist in history to be nominated for an Academy Award, Grammy Award, Brit Award, Mercury Prize, Alternative Turner Prize, and the first artist of Asian descent to be nominated for an Academy and Grammy Award in the same year.
Having lived in Sri Lanka and having migrated to the UK in the 90’s, M.I.A has a strikingly interesting upbringing which has lead her to follow in the footsteps of her activist mother. Her outspoken views have often got her involved in controversial law suits and being at the centre of online political activism, something which FUBAR is more than happy to explore in what promises to be an explosive and exclusive interview.
