Charlotte and Finn from RIVRS joined Fubar’s Harriet Rose to chat about their latest single ‘Friend Lover’, their upcoming EP and touring.

About being signed to Charli XCX’s label Vroom Vroom Recordings – “We share the same management. She listened to our track, saw the [music] video,” said Charlotte. “She loved the aesthetics of it, and said ‘I’m starting my own label. Can you come on board? I want to promote electronic pop.”

“We got to hang out with her loads. She’s the most amazing girl, she’s really pro-girls and helping women in the industry. In the industry, a lot of people are trying set people against each other. We should support music because everyone is doing their thing.”

About their ‘Friend Lover’ music video – “The video is a good introduction. Hannah Marshall comes from the fashion industry. It was her first video directing. It was fun to collaborate,” said Finn. “We love the black and white imaginary,” Charlotte added. “We were going to have a professional dancer, but she wanted me to do it. It was scary.”

They have also revealed their next single will be released in May and currently on the music video for it. You can see RIVRS on tour with Foxes and upcoming festivals this summer!
