A huge moon shaped balloon caused havoc as it teared through China this morning. The balloon was part of festivities for the city of Fuzhou’s annual mid-Autumn festival which gets underway today. However the huge moon escaped as typhoon Meranti hit the town.
Meranti was classified as a Category 5 storm, the highest possible classification. However has been taken down to Category 2 since leaving Fuzhou. The storm has caused major damage throughout China with it’s powerful gales reaching as high as 107mph.
Rumour has it that the typhoon is all part of the new Indiana Jones film… a bit reckless don’t you think Ford?
