Freelance Assistant Producer

Freelance Assistant Producer

FUBAR Radio is looking for an Assistant Producer to help create new programming with some of the biggest names in entertainment from the world of comedy, showbiz, music, politics and sport.

You will be able to work independently and as a part of a team. Good organisational skills and an ability to cope under pressure are also vital to this role, as is an awareness of popular culture and good general knowledge. A good understanding of social media and how it impacts live broadcasting would be a distinct advantage.

You will be part of a small but growing team of creative people. We love ambition and you will be given the opportunity to fulfill your goals as part of a team that rely upon each other to create great programmes.

You day to day routine will include booking guests, coming up with ideas for programmes and features, and working alongside the social media and video team to provide great content for our shows.

FUBAR Radio is unlike any other in the UK. We are not regulated by the industry watchdog, so we are afforded a lot more freedom in what we can create. Imagine post watershed TV on the radio and you get the idea. We don’t carry commercial breaks either. We do play music but when we do, it’s unedited and heard in the same way that you download it.

You will be based in our North London studios.

Normal working hours will be 10.00 to 18.00 but flexibility to work in shifts may be required and occasional weekend work. You will be expected to work hard but we can guarantee you will have fun and notch up an unparalleled work experience in the process.

Knowledge of Audition, Photoshop, video editing software (preferably Premiere Pro), all social platforms, radio studio desk
Effective time management and multi-tasking skills in a fast paced environment

We are not looking for this role to double as on-air talent. So, if you’re hoping to become a presenter on FUBAR, this is not the role for you.
